Like a solo staycation.
A spontaneous trip to Sally Beauty Supply 😂 Like I just made....
Or sipping an Italian soda on a patio like it’s your personal sanctuary.

Let’s normalize self-care in all its forms — not just the tidy, time-efficient kind.

Because all forms of self-care matter.... And you certainly don’t need to explain joy.

This month, I’m keeping my health goals low-lift +

This month, I’m keeping my health goals low-lift + high-impact—because (even though I'm in the wellness space...even I’m too tired for 6am bootcamps and 27-ingredient recipes).

Here’s what wellness looks like for me right now:
🌿 Prepping a few basic meals so dinner isn’t a nightly episode of “What’s That Smell?”
🌿 Going to bed on time three nights a week (because apparently adults need sleep?? who knew lol)
🌿 Moving my body in ways that don’t involve Lycra or a 3 mile run (because my running days are over)

And because life loves to test me, here’s what I won’t be falling for:
😵 That new detox with ingredients I can’t pronounce (also your body is built to detox itself)
📲 The urge to “do it all” while slowly spiraling
🧠 Comparing myself to 20 year old Sharon on Instagram who has a personal trainer on speed dial, meal delivery, and no visible pores

Before I chase any shiny health trend, I’m asking: Will this actually help me feel good, or is it just giving ✨anxiety✨ with a side of almond milk?

We’re going for simple, sustainable, and slightly sarcastic.

but adding more fiber might actually boost your mood.

I know—fiber isn’t exactly the most exciting thing to talk about.
But it should be.

Here’s the deal:
✨ Fiber helps regulate blood sugar (bye, mood crashes).
✨ A healthier gut = better neurotransmitter production = better mood.
✨ It keeps your energy stable, so you’re not reaching for snacks out of pure exhaustion.

One small shift I made?
→ Tossing chia seeds in my breakfast.
→ Swapping white bread for a sprouted one.
→ Keeping roasted veggies on hand to throw into anything.

Tiny change. Big difference. Try it and tell me if you feel a shift. I bet you will. 💛
